Farm Athletic Trainer: Strength & Conditioning
Julie is originally from Montpelier, Vermont but has lived in Florida with her husband, Mike for over 10 years. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training from the University of New England in 2012, where she was also a pitcher on the softball team all four years. She later went on to receive her masters degree in Injury Prevention, Performance Enhancement and Rehabilitation Science from California University of Pennsylvania. Julie has been a certified Athletic Trainer since 2012 and a certified Personal Trainer since 2015 and has experience working with youth sports, the Fort Myers Mussels in the Minnesota Twins organization, the New England Collegiate Baseball League, Perfect Game Baseball, as well as giving private softball pitching lessons. She currently runs her own Personal Training and Sports Medicine business called Devine Personal Performance.
While at the University of New England over four seasons, she had a record of 16-13, with 185 innings pitched, an average ERA of 4.59 and 95 strikeouts. In 2011 she was named Pitcher of the Week for the Commonwealth Coast Conference after posting a 0.00 ERA over 11 innings.
In her free time Julie enjoys going to the beach, kayaking, hiking, reading and hanging out with her husband, Mike.
